These terms and conditions apply to all our services directly made available online, through any mobile device, by email or by telephone and may be amended from time to time. By accessing, browsing, and using our website or any of our applications through whatever platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the "website") and/or by completing a booking, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).
1. Scope of our ServiceThrough the website (smarttechrecycling.co.uk) we (Smart Tech Recycling) provide an online platform for our clients to book IT Collections or IT Recycling Services. By making a reservation through smarttechrecycling.co.uk, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with our company from the point at which a booking is made.
Our services are available for personal, commercial, and business use. Therefore, you are not allowed to re- sell, deep-link, use, copy, monitor (e.g. spider, scrape), display, download or reproduce any content, information, software, products, or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.
2. PricesAll rates on our site are highly competitive. All prices on the Smart Tech Recycling website are displayed including VAT.
Obvious errors and mistakes (including misprints) are not binding.
3. Privacy and cookiesSmart Tech Recycling takes your privacy seriously. Feel free to look at our privacy and cookies policy for further information on how we protect your sensitive materials.
4. Collection PricesThe services offered are free of charge, as long as the necessary requirements are met, specifically the minimum purchase amount, the minimum value of all items. and the location of said items and equipment to be processed.
After a booking is made your collection account will appear as free and awaiting approval unless the premium wipe option is selected. After your collection is reviewed by our advisor, we will determine if your items meet our free collection requirements. Or if there will be a service charge. If your collection is modified you will be notified via email. There will be no cancellation fee or unpaid booking fee applied to your account until a payment has been made.
The fee for the premium wipe is set at £3.50, but this can be waved or reduced depending on the items collected. Prior to any payments, we will provide a booking summary, complete with all requisite itemized charges, and prompts asking requirements.
5. PaymentsPayment is safely and securely processed through your credit/debit card, bank account, or PayPal account into the bank account of Smart Tech Recycling or a third party payment processor (PayPal).
6. CancellationBy booking with Smart Tech Recycling, you accept and agree to the Smart Tech Recycling cancellation and no-show policy and to any and all additional pick-up/delivery terms and conditions established by Smart Tech Recycling which may apply to the nature of your booking.
Smart Tech Recycling’s cancellation and no-show policy can be found on our website linked in the footer or located in the booking form, which is made available during the booking procedure and in a confirmation email sent by FM Recycle.
Please note that all Smart Tech Recycling bookings require full and complete payment with 24hours, prior to your collection date. Refunds will only be available if your collection has been cancelled within 48 hours of your booking appointment, and you will be charged a £25cancellation fee.
If you are offered a Free Collection you have qualified for our Free Collection Scheme. Our no show policy will remain valid even if the collection fee has been paid in full or you are participating in our Free Collection Scheme.

Please note that you can be charged our cancellation fee in accordance with the applicable cancellation, terms & conditions and no-show policy listed on our site and available in the cancellation email. Smart Tech Recycling recommends that you read the full cancellation and no-show policy prior to booking with Smart Tech Recycling.
7. No Show PolicyFree Collections – Prior to arriving at your location, Smart Tech Recycling will notify you of the date & time of your booking via your email notifications or through your online website which are to be are sent during our booking process. All additional changes will be confirmed via telephone following an email confirmation confirming our new time or date of arrival.
If Smart Tech Recycling’s driver arrives at your business or home at the agreed time and date and is not able to contact you at your door or if the amount or size of the equipment does not match the agreed upon amount we have the right to charge you according to our No Show Policy Zone Agreement. This policy is listed in detail below and is also available on our website and during the Smart Tech Recycling booking process via the booking form.
Smart Tech Recycling also has a Missing Equipment policy covering our company for any and all missing equipment or for any and all invalid booking forms generated in error. For example, if said client reports 50 items qualifying for the Free Collection Scheme, but upon collecting the recycling advisor only 10 items are on hand we will charge said clients according to our Missing Equipment policy. This charge will be applied based upon a situational basis at the discretion our recycling advisor.

Equipment 50 Computers, 10 laptops.
Upon arrival if there are potentially 48 Computers and 8 laptops we can resolve things on site at our discretion, person to person. However, if there were to be closer to 10 computers and 5 laptops we will be obliged to implement the Smart Tech Recycling Missing Equipment Policy as the collection does not qualify for the Free Collection scheme and Smart Tech Recycling will not have been made aware.

By completing a booking with Smart Tech Recycling, you have agreed to receive (i); an email from us which we may be sent to you shortly prior to our arrival date, and in said email you will be provided with the necessary information concerning your booking and offers; (ii) an email sent promptly to you after your collection has been completed inviting you to complete our review form for Smart Tech Recycling.

8. Intellectual property rightsUnless stated otherwise elsewhere, the software required to review Smart Tech Recyclings services that are available on our website and all intellectual property rights (including all copyrights), as well as the contents, information, and material on our website (smarttechrecycling.co.uk) are all owned by Smart Tech Recycling.
Smart Tech Recycling exclusively retains all rights of ownership, title, and interest in and to all intellectual property rights concerning the look and feel of the website (including infrastructure) on which the service and services are made available, and you are not entitled to copy, scrape, (hyper-/deep) link to, publish, promote, market, integrate, utilize, combine or otherwise use the content or our brand without our express written permission and consent. In the event of a dispute over the content or the interpretation of these terms and conditions or any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version of said terms and any other language version of said terms and conditions, the English language version of said terms and conditions to the extent permitted by law, shall apply, prevail, and be conclusive.
If any of said provisions of these terms and conditions are or is to become invalid, unenforceable, or non- binding, you shall remain bound by all other provisions hereof. In such an event, such invalid provision shall nonetheless be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by any and all applicable law, and you the client will at the least agree to accept a similar effect as the invalid, unenforceable, or non-binding provision, given the contents and purpose of these terms and conditions.
